...and watch your back.
Inspired by the last scene of Ridley Scott's Alien (yes, there was no knife in the movie). I remember studying it in my Women In Film class, and how symbolic it is that Ripley stripped down out of her clothes and became vulnerable, and yet she is the one who ultimately survives. I think she is one of the best movie heroines of all time. I remember our professor saying the design of the Alien held elements of both male and female sexuality. After sitting down to draw it I must say I agree. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
